We understand that wedding planning is very exciting and demanding and there is a lot to keep track of. During this time, we want to make sure that we help you in the best way possible with not only preparing for your wedding, but more importantly, preparing for your marriage. Below you will find helpful information for both wedding and marriage preparation, but the best thing you can do is to contact the parish and set up a meeting to discuss the process of getting married in the church.
Check List for Getting Married at All Saints Each of the following must be completed before you can be married at All Saints Church.
Contact the parish office at least 6 months prior to desired wedding date to begin the preparation process
Meet with the Pastor to complete necessary paperwork
Meet with the Director of Faith Formation to complete the Pre-Marriage Inventory and be paired with a mentor couple
Meet with the Director of Music & Liturgy to plan the wedding ceremony
Complete a marriage preparation program or retreat if not doing the mentor couple program
Sign and return guidelines for use of the church building
Sign and return forms for photographer and videographer

WVMarriage.Org - Offers specialized resources for our state. This is where you will also find the list of marriage preparation retreat weekends being offered by our diocese along with resources for Natural Family Planning classes.
Wedding Guidelines for All Saints Church The following guidelines are to help you understand the expectations of All Saints for all couples planning to be married in the church. Everything will be discussed in further detail with each couple to ensure that there are no misunderstandings that could cause problems during a time that is meant to be joyful and holy!
Arrangements for the time and date of your wedding must be initiated at least six months before the desired date of your wedding
Parish membership and regular Mass attendance are required
If your parents are registered parishioners at All Saints and you reside out of town, you are required to submit a letter confirming your registration in the parish where you are residing. The letter must be signed by the pastor or designated representative of that parish.
Weddings may be scheduled from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Saturdays. Weddings may also be scheduled for Friday evenings, depending on the priest and parish calendar. We do not schedule weddings for Sundays, Holy Days, during the Lenten Season or National Holidays.
Rehearsals are generally held at 6:00 p.m. the evening before the wedding day. Any special arrangements must be scheduled with the priest/deacon.
The Wedding Liturgy is prepared with the Liturgy/Music Director and the bride and groom only. Appointment(s) must be scheduled with the Liturgy/Music Director. All music must be approved liturgical music.
On the day of the Wedding there will be a “Facility Representative” present to answer any questions and to guide and direct participants and attendees.
Marriage Preparation Program Fr. Walt conducts Marriage Preparation with engaged couples on an individual basis. Please contact him to start that process at extension 13.
