I attended All Saints School from first through 6th grades (early 60s). After that, our Dad (US Army) got assigned to Germany and that's when we all left Bridgeport, never to return again to live.
I just explored the town of Bridgeport using Goggle Earth and saw the street where I grew up, Gordon street, is still very similar to what I remembered as a child. The school and church, however, appears very different. When I was there, the church was a traditional red brick church building, and was across the street from today's much more modern looking church.
I remember priest was Father Carroll back in those days. I remember many of the nuns who taught back then, but don't recall all their names. Sister Mary Theresa I think was the Principle. As the school wasn't too far from home, we kids all walked to/from school every day.
I remember many of the names and faces of the kids I attended class with: Steven Barnett, Blain Cain, Mary Annette Marino, Scott Derringer (sp), just to name a few off the top of my head. One of these days I may get back there and visit.
